ACTION ITEMS                

1.CE PROGRAM : IMMUNIZING PHARMACISTS REVIEW- PRESENTED BY JOSEPH P. NAVARRA, R.PH.

Secretary Report Minutes have been approved & are posted on the website (ipsrx.org).

 Treasurer Report Account is in the black & approved by Chairman of the Board.

Introduction of New Members There were 8 new members present.

Committee Reports :
    Membership  : We have 85 paid members to date.

    Newsletter :  Next newsletter will be out before Christmas.

    Continuing Education :There will be a CE for January's meeting.

    Board of Pharmacy : There will be a board meeting held this Tuesday at LIU.
                                               Daily log no longer needs to be printed, can electronically store it.

    Legislative  : AWP Rollback by 4 %.
       
   
    PSSNY  : Mid Winter Conference is January 7-10, 2010 in Saratoga.
                     We urge you to make the phone calls needed to State Legislators as we are all effected by reimbursement cuts.

    Medicare :  December 2, 2010, NYCSP will be hosting a meeting on the impending crisis in Pharmacy at Laguardia.
                      There are very little changes for Medicare 2010 : one benchmark plan thats changing is Medicare RX Rewards.
                      2 new benchmark plans are Fox Insurance & Envision Rx.

Old Business : PSSNY MID-WINTER CONVENTION will be held on January 7-10, 2010 in Saratoga.
                       

New Business : Dinner Dance will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at LEONARD'S .
                         Our honoree will be Anthony J. Ciarletta.
