ACTION ITEMS

CE Presentation:  Erectile Dysfunction  presented by Stefanie Vitale, Pharm.D
                               
Minutes:    Minutes have been approved and will be posted `on the website.

Treasurer Report:   Account is in the black & approved by Chairman of the Board.
                    
Committee Reports: : 
Membership Report: There were 3 new members present.

Legislative Report:  Ken Moffa mentioned AMP  regulations& a bill that would
            allow Pharmacists to negotiate with third party payors.
             
PSSNY Report:   The PSSNY mid-year convention will be held on January 10-12,
             2008 focusing on Pharmacists as Immunizers.  This is important because
             there is a big push to show legislators that  the ability to immunize is  
             important to Pharmacists.  We are presently  1 of 4 states that does not allow  
            Pharmacists to immunize.
* Joe urged those who are not PSSNY members to please join.
 There are 20,000 registered pharmacists  & only 4,000 are members of PSSNY.
Pharmacy of Board  Report:  John suggested we resubmit our request on the Boards
         formal opinion regarding changing a prescription mid-stream from the brand
         name to a newly released generic.
Nominations Report:   Charles Catalano  announced nominations as follows:
       *President:     Anthony J. Ciarletta
       * Vice-President :  RoseMarie Tomasetti
       * 2nd Vice-President: Frank Fata
       * 3rd Vice-President: Vito Columbo
    New Board members as follows: Maria Celentano, Rocco Sforza, Frances
                                                       Aurrichio, &  Michael Piampino.  
    Board Members will be inducted  at Christmas Party on Dec 13, 2007.   

Old Business:  Christmas party will be held on December 13, 2007 at  Caffe on the  
                        Green at 7pm.
                          
New Business:  New membership forms must be turned in.
Good & Welfare:  Congratulations  to Joe  N. on his new home.
            We received a letter from  a representative of  the Montefiore Cancer Fund  t
            thanking us for our $3,000 contribution.
Mike Esemplare will be resigning from his position of Treasurer &  Sandy Gaeta
           will serve as our new Treasurer.
Next membership meeting will be held on January 17, 2008.
