CE PRESENTATION: HIV DRUG INTERACTIONS by TINA KANMAZ, PHARMD.

 Secretary Report : Minutes have been approved and will be posted on the website.

 Treasurer Report :Account is in the black & approved by Chairman of the Board.

  Committee Reports:

      Membership Report : We have 83 paid members.
   
      Newsletter:  Newsletter has been sent out & you should all receive it soon.
     
      Board of Pharmacy: On August 20th, the Board of Regents approved the latest regulations on  electronic prescribing.  You need to be able to produce the RX Log on demand not on a daily basis.

       Legislative/PSSNY Report: IPS continues to work with local Assemblyman & Senators to change the reimbursement methodology for Medicare, EPIC, & ADAP from AWP- 20.25 %  to WAC + 5 %.  PSSNY is working in conjuction with other professional organizations to get a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) against NYS to stop the latest round of devastating Pharmacy cuts.
      
       Medicare Report: Accreditation has been extended to January 1, 2010.

       Nominations Report: Members who will be leaving board : Germaine, Charles & Jackie
                    3 new Board member nominees : Stefanie Vitale, Mike Agovino & Jan Perrone
                    Positions moving up : President, Vice President, 2nd Vice president & 3rd Vice President.
                              
Old Business:  Christmas Party is December 3, 2009 at Marina Del Rey, Bronx, NY.

New Business:  Please RSVP to IPS Christmas party upon receipt of invitation.
                     
Good & Welfare:  Dan Molino will be speaking at a 5 HR CE on Nov 1st at 10:15  at Marriot given by Joe Bova.
