ACTION ITEMS                

CE PRESENTATION: HIV UPDATE : FOCUS ON NEW MEDICATIONS

 Secretary Report : Minutes have been approved and will be posted on the website.

 Treasurer Report :Account is in the black & approved by Chairman of the Board.

 Committee Reports:

      Membership Report : We have 85 paid members to date.
 
      Board of Pharmacy:  John reported there have been 2 recommendations to Board of Regents:
                                1.) To allow Pharmacies to maintain paperless records.
                                2.) Allow residency programs.
                  *There were close to 700 candidates that took State Boards. Compounding grading will take place next week.          
     
       Legislative Report:  Joe reported that 2  Democrats switched parties so now Republicans can possibly control the Senate.
          
        PSSNY Report:  PSSNY convention is June 24-28. We are short on number of Pharmacists attending, please make every effort to attend.
                              
Old Business:  Dinner dance finances have been verified by the Board.

New Business: IPS Christmas party will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2009 at Marina Del Rey in Bronx, NY.
