ACTION ITEMS

CE Presentation: Warfarin Therapy by Stephanie Guzman, Pharm.D
                               
Secretary Report:    Minutes have been approved and will be posted on website.

Treasurer Report:   Account is in the black & approved by Chairman of the Board.

 Introduction of New Members :    We had 3 new student members from St. Johns.

Committee Reports:      :
Membership Report:  Total number of members will be announced at next meeting.

Newsletter Report: Newsletter as at the printer and will be out over next several weeks

 Continuing Education Report: There will be a CE at our next meeting on combating Meth given by Craig Burridge.
 
Legislative Report:  The most severe cuts in Medicaid reimbursement in years
                         will be AWP-16.25%. NYCPS & PSSNY plan to hire a lobbying
                         firm to try to raise the dispensing fees

PSSNY Report: Report was combined with legislative report.

Board of Pharmacy Report:  Danny reported that the NYS  Pharmacy Board
                        exams are coming up in June.                      

Old Business:  PSSNY Convention will be June 25-29 .  Stefanie suggests we all
                         try to attend this convention to show support to our profession.
                         We will be receiving 2008 PSSNY ballots in the mail and we are
                         supporting our very own Joe Navarra for President Elect &
                         David Stachnik for 1st Vice President.
                
New Business : Next years Dinner Dance will be held on March 28, 2009.
