Minutes:    Minutes have been approved and will be posted on website.

Treasurer Report:   Accounts  are  in the black & approved by Chairman of the Board.
                    
Committee Reports:      :

• Membership Report:  83 paid members

• Newsletter Report:  The newsletter was sent out.

• Continuing Education Report:  There will be CE on Schizophrenia on         

                on April 10th.

• Legislative Report:  PBM Transparency sponsored by Senator Seward.

• PSSNY Report: - Senate proposed budget.   Proposal is to cut Medicaid

                          reimbursement.  Joe mentioned him being at a city counsel meeting
                          and  issues discussed included  mail order, PBM’s,  & immunizations.
                          Medical Society of State of NY opposes Pharmacists to be 
                          Immunizers.  PSSNY Convention will be June 25-28 at Lake George.

• Board of pharmacy Report:  Danny reported there were 2 meetings 

              recently  at St. John’s.  One of the meetings was  open to the public. 
              Items discussed at these meetings include E-prescribing and language
              requirements on prescription labels. 

• Medicare Report : Scholarship Report:  There are 2 scholarship winners for this year. Charlie reported there will be a NYC Society meeting

              next week on Medicare Part D 2009.

• Scholarship Report:  The 2 winners are 4th year student Melissa Favale

                & 5th year student Lauren Corrado both from St. John’s.
                

• Dinner Dance Report: This years honoree is  Stefanie Vitale.  Two trips

             will be given away, one to Napa Valley & the other to Italy. 
 

• Journal Report:  Roger has collected over $10,000 so far.  This years journal is a green journal  and everyone will be given a DVD of  all the journal ads.

Old Business:  Dinner Dance  will be held on March 29, 2008
New Business :    
Good and Welfare:   Germaine Celentano is getting married on April 26, 2008
