ACTION ITEMS

CE Presentation: Schizophrenia and Manic Disorders presented by                
                               Kenneth Caccavale, MD. 

Minutes: Minutes of 03/08/07 were approved and have been posted on the website.

Treasurer Report: Account is the black and approved by chairman of board.
Committee Reports:

• Membership Committee: Ray announced that we have 105 paid members

                                                and about 100 people who have not paid their dues.
                                                       

• Newsletter Committee:  Fran said our newsletter is finally out due to                                                

                          our printer company moving.
           Legislative Report:  AMP was discussed  further because it will be
                           happening soon.
                           Pedigree legislation discussed which is basically a step in
                           securing the pharmaceutical supply chain in an effort to
                           combat the risk of counterfeit drugs. Federal and state
                           lawmakers are pursuing this legislation to supply
                           players in the supply chain a record detailing the chain
                          of custody for drugs from manufacturers to the point  
                          of dispensing.
                          Charlie spoke on bill supporting that AMP be re-calculated.
                             
                      PSSNY Report : Joe discussed Mediaid cuts which will be AWP-15%
                                              brands & 30% generics.  Ray  spoke about  non- 
                                              manufacturers vials & called upon Stefanie to call
                                              PSSNY as president of society expressing concern.
                            
           Journal Report: Roger will be sitting with the printers on Friday, March 9th.
                           He did not have a dollar amount. He said we had an overwhelming
                            response on Jerry D’Avanzo.
                            A BIG thank you to Roger Paganelli for all his hard work putting
                            the journal together.
           Scholarship  Report : We have 2 winners from St’ John’s University.
                                  

• Dinner Dance Committee:  Germaine  announced we have 90 people who   

                        RSVP’d. We have sponsors this year  again for our 
                        cocktail hour, band, table arrangements, vienese hour, etc.
                        We have also added caricatures  and a martini bar to our
                        wonderful affair. There will also be a silent auction so bring cash
                        & credit cards please.
 
Old Business:  Get NPI numbers.
                          Mardi Gras Madness in Lake George  June 27- July 1st.
                          109th  Italian- American Pharmaceutical Society Dinner Dance
                           is Saturday, March 24, 2007 at 7pm.   Pharmacy Day is Tuesday,
                           March 27,2007.   
New Business:  Mike Agovino as President elect & Joe Navarro as 1st vice president
                       Of PSSNY. Good Luck !
Good and Welfare:  Stefanie’s mother will be giving the invocation at our dinner
                               Dance.
                              Armand  Paganelli was recognized for donating pajamas to needy                 
                              Children. Congratulations to him!.
