Minutes:    Minutes have been approved and will be posted on website.

Treasurer Report:   Account is in the black & approved by Chairman of the Board.
                    
Committee Reports:      :

• Membership Report:  There are currently 70 paid members.

• Newsletter Report: -The newsletter is at the printer & will be mailed

out shortly.  Thanks to Stefanie Vitale, Lisa Anzisi, Stephanie Guzman,
Joe Navarra & Anthony Ciarletta for contributing to the newsletter.

• Continuing Education Report:  There will be a CE Meeting on March 13, 2008 given by Joe Bova on controlled substances.

• Legislative Report:  Ray mentioned PBM Transparency Bill.

• PSSNY Report: - Joe reported that there will be a meeting between  PSSNY &  

                                        OMIG to discuss Medicare cross over billing issues.
             .               -Pharmacy day is March 26, 2008.
                                       -PSSNY Convention is June 25-28, 2008.
                                       -Initiative  by city counsel to have Pharmacists speaking
                                        language of the area.
                           

• Board of pharmacy Report:  Danny reported that there will be a  board

              meeting  March 3rd & 4th. The meeting on the 4th is open to all. They also
               graded the January Boards.

• Medicare Report: Charlie reported that many medications require prior

             authorizations on Medicare part D plans for 2008.

• Scholarship Report:  Deadline for submitted applications is March 1, 2008.

              Stephanie has received a total of 7 applications.
 

• Dinner Dance Report: This years Dinner Dance is Saturday, March 29, 2008

               This years honoree is Stefanie Vitale.  We are grateful to all the
                wholesalers for sponsoring many of the festivities for the night.

Old Business:  Dinner Dance will be on Saturday, March 29, 2008
                     
New Business :   “Relay for Life” asking for donation  to be given to Swati Shah.
                    IPS donated $500.00 last year. Dan Molino asked that we raise this
                    years donation to $1,000.
Good and Welfare-  Congratulations to IPS member Mike Piampino on his recent
              engagement to Christine.
