Meeting Minutes

1.CE PROGRAM:  ALLERGIC RHINITIS UPDATE FOR THE PRACTITIONER.

 Secretary Report:  Minutes have been approved and will be posted on website.

 Treasurer Report:  Account is in the black & approved by Chairman of the Board.

Introduction of New Members:  There were 3 new members present.

Committee Reports:
  -  Membership Report : We have 35 paid members to date.

   - Newsletter Report:  The newsletter will be going out shortly.

  - Board of Pharmacy: There will be a round table meeting in Albany on February 24, 2009.  The technicians to Pharmacists ratio will be one of the topics.
  
   -Legislative Report: There is a meeting on February 13, 2009 in Albany with Dept of Health to discuss budget issues.
  
   -PSSNY Report:  There is a meeting February 18, 2009 on PBM Transparency. The PSSNY convention will be June 25-28, 2009.
                              - March 3, 2009 is Independent Owner's Lobby  Day!! We have about 75 owners going.
                              - March 30, 2009 is Pharmacy Day...

 Dinner Dance Report: The dinner dance is full speed ahead ! We have pretty much the same sponsors as last year.
   
 Journal Report:  Roger handed out ads & asked each of us to get at least one ad.

Scholarship Report: All College of Pharmacies have been distributed applications. Deadline is March 1, 2009

Old Business:  Dinner Dance is March 28, 2009 at Leonard's.

New Business:  Members of LKS were asking for a donation for "Relay for Life".
                        IPS donated $1,000 last year.

Good & Welfare:  Happy Valentine's Day !!!
